King Purushottama AKA King Porus as he is known in English was the person who Alexander the Great fought against in India, people still debate weather he lost or won his campaign in India, personally I believe he lost, the theories for his victory just make no common sense, the one theory is Alexander the Great conquered India and then gave it back to king Porus so that he could run it almost as a Vassel state. However this makes no sense to me because why would you give up something you fought so hard to get and a second reason is, he wanted to conquer the entire known world, surely after conquering India he would realize there is more out there for him to conquer and instead of returning home he would continue to press on! So I definitely think he was defeated by King Porus
