In a moment our mind can think of even the planets that are far away, far away, beyond our reach.
Distance is not a barrier for the mind to think.
Our mind is capable of knowing how far away it is.
The mind is always inquiring about what is far away.
It does not have the ability to know anything close to us.
For example, the sky tells us that it is thousands of kilometers above our heads.
As soon as we say sky, we stand up and look above our heads. God is believed to exist in a distant space above the earth.
Akayam is one of the panchabhuta shaktis, the most primal. All creation takes place in this Akash shakti.
About nine hundred and eight percent of this energy is Akash. Creation is only about two percent.
But if that two percent creation is so vast, our minds cannot calculate the total cosmic force.
But this celestial power is not just outside of us.
It is very close to us.
It is not difficult for the self-realized sages to know the distance. They said it is difficult to know what is very close to us.
In meditation, a man can feel the celestial energy within him, just in the state of his mind.
Space is not just somewhere far away. It starts from within us.

வெட்டவெளியில், தொலைதூரத்தில், நாம் செல்ல முடியாத தூரத்தில் இருக்கும் கோள்களைக்கூட, நமது மனம் ஒரு நொடியில் நினைத்து பார்த்துவிடும்.
மனதிற்கு நினைத்துப் பார்ப்பதற்கு தூரம் ஒரு தடையே கிடையாது.
எவ்வளவு தூரத்தில் இருப்பதையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் ஆற்றல் வாய்ந்தது நமது மனம்.
மனம் எப்போதும் தூரத்தில் உள்ளதைப் பற்றியே ஆராய்ச்சி செய்யும் தன்மை கொண்டது.
அதற்கு நமக்கு மிக அருகே இருக்கும் எதையும் தெரிந்து கொள்ளும் தன்மை கிடையாது.
உதாரணமாக ஆகாயம் என்றால், நமது தலைக்கு மேலே, பல ஆயிரம் கிலோமீட்டர் தூரத்தில் இருப்பதாகத் தான் நம்மிடம் சொல்லி வைத்திருக்கிறது.
ஆகாயம் என்று சொன்னவுடன், நாம் நிமிர்ந்து தலைக்கு மேலே தான் கவனிப்போம். கடவுள் என்ற சக்தி பூமிக்கு மேலே உள்ள தொலைதூர ஆகாயத்தில் இருப்பதாகத் தான் நம்பப்படுகிறது.
ஆகாயம், என்னும் பஞ்சபூத சக்திகளில் ஒன்று தான், மிகவும் முதன்மையானது.படைத்தல் அனைத்தும் இந்த ஆகாஷ் என்னும் சக்தியில் தான் நிகழ்கிறது.
இந்த ஆகாஷ் என்னும் சக்திதான் சுமார் தொன்னூற்று எட்டு சதவீதம் இருக்கிறது. படைத்தல் என்பது வெறும் சுமார் இரண்டு சதவீதம் தான்.
ஆனால் அந்த இரண்டு சதவீத படைப்பே மிகவும் பிரம்மாண்டமானது என்றால், மொத்த ஆகாய சக்தியை நமது மனதால் கணக்கிட முடியாது.
ஆனால் இந்த ஆகாய சக்தி, நமக்கு வெளியே மட்டும் இல்லை.
நமக்கு உள்ளே மிக மிக அருகே இருக்கிறது.
இதைத்தான், தன்னை உணர்ந்த ஞானிகள், தொலைவில் இருப்பதை அறிவது கடினம் இல்லை. நமக்கு மிக மிக அருகே உள்ளதை தெரிந்து கொள்வது கடினம் என்றார்கள்.
தியானத்தில், ஒரு மனிதன், தனது மனம் கடந்த நிலையில் தான், மிக அருகே தனக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆகாய சக்தியை உணர முடியும்.
ஆகாயம் என்பது,எங்கோ தொலைவில் மட்டும் இல்லை. நமக்குள் இருந்து தான் ஆரம்பிக்கிறது.
உதாரணமாக சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்றால், நமது ஒரு சிந்தனைக்கும், அதனை அடுத்த இன்னொரு சிந்தனைக்கும் இடையில் இருக்கும் ஒரு சிறிய இடைவெளி ஆகாயம் தான்
