Netanyahu slams European hypocrisy as court orders removal of Hamas from terror blacklist

These antisemitic dogs — they learned nothing from World War II. They traded 6 million Jews for 20 million hostile Muslims.
The continent responsible for the extermination of six million Jews is now legislating the next genocide. Their fate is sealed, because they unwilling to emerge from their primordial ooze of hate. Who is going to save Europe this time around? Obama?
Europe is reverting. Europe has returned to its old stomping grounds — comfortable again to indulge their dark, monstrous impulses.
WEb;“Netanyahu slams European ‘hypocrisy’ as court orders removal of Hamas from terror blacklist,” by Robert Tait, Telegraph, December 16, 2014:Benjamin Netanyahu accused Europeans of failing to learn from the Holocaust on Wednesday after Europe’s second highest court removed the Palestinian militant group Hamas from the EU’s terror blacklist. The Israeli’s prime minister’s furious broadside came on a day of frenetic diplomatic manoeuvering that saw the European parliament adopt a resolution backing Palestinian statehood while Palestinian officials at the UN prepared to table a motion setting a timetable for a peace agreement.Mr Netanyahu ignored those developments in remarks issued by his office but instead focused on the European court decision, along with a meeting in Switzerland of signatories to the Geneva Convention which he said was aimed at examining war crimes allegations levelled against Israel.“Today we witnessed staggering examples of European hypocrisy,” the Israeli leader said, pointedly comparing European conduct to the “friendship of the people of the United States” in remarks welcoming the visit of Joni Ernst, a newly-elected US Republican senator.“In Geneva they call for the investigation of Israel for war crimes, while in Luxemburg the European court removed Hamas from the list of terrorist organizations.“Hamas that has committed countless war crimes and countless terror acts. It seems that too many in Europe, on whose soil six million Jews were slaughtered, have learned nothing.. The friendship we see from the United States stands in complete contrast to what we are seeing regretfully in Europe.”The general court of the European Union had earlier annulled an earlier ruling defining Hamas as a terrorist group on “procedural” grounds, saying that the original verdict had been based on media and internet reports that should not have been admissible as proper evidence. It did not unfreeze the Palestinian group’s assets but instead gae European governments three months to launch an appeal and submit fresh evidence. The EU’s foreign policy body insisted that European policy towards Hamas was unchanged and that Hamas was still considered a terrorist group.“This legal ruling…..does not imply any assessment by the court of the substantive reasons for the designation of Hamas as a terrorist organisation,” an EU spokeswoman said. “It is a legal ruling of a court, not a political decision taken by the EU governments. The EU institutions are studying carefully the ruling and will decide on the options open to them. They will, in due course, take appropriate remedial action, including any eventual appeal to the ruling.”Hamas nevertheless hailed the ruling as a victory. “The decision is a correction of a historical mistake the European Union had made,” said Moussa Abu Marzouk, the group’s deputy leader. “Hamas is a resistance movement and it has a natural right according to all international laws and standards to resist the occupation.”Mr Netanyahu had initially condemned the judgement in measured language, saying he was “not satisfied” with the European explanation that Hamas’ removal was a “technical” matter.A more robust tone came later in the day as the European parliament, in a separate development, voted overwhelmingly to support “in principle” a Palestinian state, in tandem with negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. The motion was symbolic and was milder than that backed by the UK, French, Portugese Spanish and Irish parliaments in recent weeks, all of which have backed Palestinian statehood without pre-conditioning it on negotiations. The Palestinian pressed ahead on Wednesday with a resolution to the UN security council. Riyad al-Malki, the Palestinian foreign minister, said a draft resolution would be submitted to the Security Council after the Palestinians agreed with France on a compromise text calling for a fresh peace effort. The resolution is expected to set a two-year deadline for wrapping up negotiations on a final status agreement that would provide for a new Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a shared capital.by k.jagadeesh
