Nature is the only proof of God. Whatsoever man has made gives no indication of God. The great cement structures, the bridges, the railways, the airplanes -- the great technology that surrounds us today gives no hint that God exists. It makes us feel as if we are the creators and there is no other creator.

But when you go to the mountains, to the sea, to the woods suddenly you become aware of a totally different reality, not manmade. And it is not only that it is not manmade, it has a totally different dimension to it: it grows. The ocean goes on breathing,~ waves are its breath. The forest is alive, it grows: the trees are growing and the birds are alive and the animals are alive. Whatsoever man has made is dead, it does not grow. And only something growing can make you aware of the presence of life. Growth is life.

If you can feel life pulsating, God is not far behind. To feel life is to enter into the temple of God.

Go more and more into nature. Go more and more into something that is God-made and which man has still not destroyed, because it is there that God is still alive. Friedrich Nietzsche says "God is dead." It is true: in New York he is dead, in Bombay he is dead, in London he is dead, in Berlin he is dead; but not in the woods, not in the Himalayas, not in the oceans and the rivers and not in the clouds and the stars. There God is very alive, as alive as ever. We have just to open our eyes towards nature more and more. Let nature be your meditation.

[08/05, 1:04 PM] Jagadeesh KrishnanChandra: மேலும் மேலும் இயற்கையில் செல்லுங்கள்.  கடவுளால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மற்றும் எந்த மனிதன் இன்னும் அழிக்கப்படாத ஒரு விஷயத்திற்கு மேலும் மேலும் செல்லுங்கள்.

 இயற்கையே கடவுளின் ஒரே சான்று.  மனிதன் செய்தவை அனைத்தும் கடவுளைக் குறிக்கவில்லை.  பெரிய சிமென்ட் கட்டமைப்புகள், பாலங்கள், ரயில்வே, விமானங்கள் - இன்று நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள சிறந்த தொழில்நுட்பம் கடவுள் இருக்கிறார் என்பதற்கான குறிப்பைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை.  இது நாம் படைப்பாளிகள், வேறு எந்த படைப்பாளியும் இல்லை என்பது போன்ற உணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.

 ஆனால் நீங்கள் மலைகளுக்கு, கடலுக்கு, காடுகளுக்குச் செல்லும்போது திடீரென்று நீங்கள் முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட யதார்த்தத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள், மனிதனால் உருவாக்கப்படவில்லை.  அது மனிதனால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டதல்ல என்பது மட்டுமல்ல, அதற்கு முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட பரிமாணமும் உள்ளது: அது வளர்கிறது.  கடல் சுவாசிக்கிறது, ~ அலைகள் அதன் சுவாசம்.  காடு உயிருடன் இருக்கிறது, அது வளர்கிறது: மரங்கள் வளர்ந்து பறவைகள் உயிருடன் இருக்கின்றன, விலங்குகள் உயிருடன் இருக்கின்றன.  மனிதன் செய்த அனைத்தும் இறந்துவிட்டன, அது வளரவில்லை.  மேலும் வளர்ந்து வரும் ஒன்று மட்டுமே வாழ்க்கையின் இருப்பைப் பற்றி உங்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்த முடியும்.  வளர்ச்சி என்பது வாழ்க்கை.

 வாழ்க்கையை துடிப்பதை நீங்கள் உணர முடிந்தால், கடவுள் மிகவும் பின் தங்கியிருக்கவில்லை.  வாழ்க்கையை உணர வேண்டும் என்பது கடவுளின் ஆலயத்திற்குள் நுழைவது.

 மேலும் மேலும் இயற்கையில் செல்லுங்கள்.  கடவுளால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மற்றும் எந்த மனிதன் இன்னும் அழிக்கப்படாத ஒரு விஷயத்திற்கு மேலும் மேலும் செல்லுங்கள், ஏனென்றால் கடவுள் இன்னும் உயிருடன் இருக்கிறார்.  ஃபிரெட்ரிக் நீட்சே "கடவுள் இறந்துவிட்டார்" என்று கூறுகிறார்.  அது உண்மைதான்: நியூயார்க்கில் அவர் இறந்துவிட்டார், பம்பாயில் அவர் இறந்துவிட்டார், லண்டனில் அவர் இறந்துவிட்டார், பேர்லினில் அவர் இறந்துவிட்டார்;  ஆனால் காடுகளில் அல்ல, இமயமலையில் அல்ல, பெருங்கடல்களிலும் ஆறுகளிலும் அல்ல, மேகங்களிலும் நட்சத்திரங்களிலும் அல்ல.  அங்கே கடவுள் எப்போதும் உயிருடன் இருக்கிறார்.  இயற்கையை நோக்கி நாம் மேலும் மேலும் கண்களைத் திறக்க வேண்டும்.  இயற்கை உங்கள் தியானமாக இருக்கட்டும்.
